Fall Preview Part III: From Magic to Malice and Back Again

In the final episode of our Fall Preview, Patti Quatro and I wrap up our deep dive into the last two seasons of the podcast and what’s to come in Season Three. We reflect upon growing up in the music biz, the difference between the Detroit and L.A. music scenes, the various players and musicians along the way, the magic and the malice of it all, and so much more! This is an all-exclusive and revelatory conversation about what it’s really like to grow up and work in the business of music. Join us, won’t you?

  1. Great to hear the finality! And the bickering goes on and on.. what a shame. Things could have been so different and here we go again with the June Chronicles.. too bad she tried to control everything. An astrologer.. omg.. I have to shut my mouth about that one.. who is the mental one? OMG. Thanks again Patti for always telling the truth and staying in the light. You are a gift.

  2. Sadly, it bothers me always when women musicians feel threatened, or bitter, or catty and behave badly instead of lifting each other up. I hate it when male bands do it– and moreso when females do it as we have
had such a hard time making our way into the men’s musical arena!!! For me the tent will always remain huge and magical to credit so many women’s contributions to communicating with their love and music…..whether they got deserved credit or not…..I prefer to bestow it on them when I am able to….and there are many in that tent as pioneers and today!!! And you are one of them, Addie!!! It was just time for me to put an enlightened period (a sort of closure finally– as I have never done my oral!!) on that part of my journey, and …..on all the magic I was blessed to experience ALSO. Thank you for your friendship, talent and thoughts.

  3. Oh boy, Patti, you are so sweet. There is so much more but being what you are, a phoenix always rising from the malice, you shine, girlfriend. The high road you take and never look back. I am so proud of you, but you already know that. I can’t wait for the next season when you go back to our roots in everyone’s beloved Detroit. xoxoxx

    1. Thank you for listening, Dianne! I can’t wait for us to get back to the magic of Detroit rock city too! xx
