From the libretto to the scenes to the leitmotif, we discuss and listen to musical pieces of Fanny’s 1974 live U.S. performance of their rock opera. For the first time since then, you will get to hear the original script from Patti’s archives and listen to never-before-heard songs performed by the band. Patti explains how the rock opera was a commentary on social issues plaguing so many groups during the time of sex, drugs, and rock & roll, as well as gender and sexual orientation. It is a fascinating storyline and narrative that still reflects and resonates the chaos and confusion in the world more than fifty years after its debut.
